Just a note with this video. I was stunned by the disconnect between my expectations and the reality I witnessed. Another lesson in humility and standing back from judgement (and the Lord knows I really need all the reminders I can get).

and yes astound you! As soon as he began singing, tears of joy and wonder flooded my eyes. His gift was immediately evident and his humility
is part of it also. Believe in God and believe in your own God-given gifts!

Terry. You bring up an excellent point at the end there. Perhaps one of the most challenging things we have to do us trust our gifts enough to share them. This is right along the lines of what Ronald Rolheiser talks about in “The Holy Longing” when he challenges Christians to seek balance between being ‘inflated’ and being ‘depressed’. It’s a good read (I’m reading it now!). Thanks for the comment!
